What’s the Booking Process?

Get in Touch: Start by contacting me to check if your wedding date is available and let me know which package(s) you’re interested in.

Travel Quote: If your venue is over two hours from Peterborough, I’ll provide a quote for any travel fees.

Sign the Contract: Once we confirm the details, I’ll send you a contract to sign. During this time, feel free to share your vision or any special details you’d like me to include.

Secure Your Booking: When everything is set, I’ll send an invoice for the deposit. Your booking is officially secured once the deposit is received!

Remaining Payment: The remaining balance is due 45 days before the wedding.

What Is the Process on the Wedding Day?

Here’s how the process will unfold on your special day, tailored to the service you’ve booked:

Arrival and Setup

  • Live Guest Illustration: I will arrive 1-2 hours before the start of your event to set up my station and ensure everything is ready to create illustrations for your guests.
  • Live Wedding Painting: I’ll aim to arrive about 1 hour before the event to set up and prepare for your live painting.

Live Guest Illustration Process

  1. I will take a quick reference photo of each guest or pair before starting their illustration. This ensures I can capture their likeness accurately.
  2. Once an illustration is complete, it will be placed in a protective envelope and displayed for the guest to collect and take home at the end of the event.

Live Wedding Painting Process

  1. Before beginning your painting, I’ll take a reference photo of the bride and groom in a setting of their choice. This backdrop can reflect the venue or a specific vision you have in mind.
  2. Throughout your celebration, I will focus on capturing the moment live. Final details will be added in my studio after the wedding to ensure the painting is a perfect keepsake.

Additional Details

  • I will ensure my presence is as unobtrusive as possible, blending seamlessly with your wedding’s atmosphere.
  • Your finished artwork will be securely delivered to you after the wedding.
  • I’ll bring all other materials required for the service, so you don’t need to worry about a thing.

What is included in each live wedding painting package?

Silver Package: 16x20” canvas, 8 hours of live painting, minimal background, includes 2 people.

Gold Package: 20x24” canvas, 10 hours of live painting, detailed background, includes up to 2 people, pets optional.

Diamond Package: 30x40” canvas, 10 hours of live painting, detailed background, includes up to 4 people, pets, and guest contributions.

How do guests get their portraits done?

Guests come to me! As they arrive, I take a quick reference photo so they can continue enjoying the celebration while I work. Each finished portrait is wrapped in a protective sleeve and ready for pickup from my table by the end of the night.

What is the cost for the guest illustration services?

Silver Package: £800, includes pre-wedding consultation, 6 hours of live illustrations for up to 30-60 guests.

Gold Package: £1300, includes 8 hours of live illustrations, wooden stands for portraits. Up to 61-80 guests.

Diamond Package: £1600, includes 8 hours of live illustrations on acrylic glass and wooden stands, covers up to 100 guests.

What are the payment terms?

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package price is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is due 45 days before the event date.

Do I need to cover travel or accommodation fees?
  • Travel beyond a 2-hour drive from Peterborough may incur additional fees. If the location is more than 2 hours away, overnight accommodation may be required at the Client’s expense.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancellation Policy:

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking, which is non-refundable, except in the case where the artist is unable to provide the service.
  • Final payment is due 45 days before the event.
  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the event, you will receive a 70% refund of the total price, minus the non-refundable deposit. Travel charges will be refunded based on the percentage.
  • If you cancel within 30 days of the event, you will receive a 50% refund of the total price, minus the non-refundable deposit. Travel charges will be refunded based on the percentage.
  • If you cancel within 14 days of the event, you will receive a 20% refund of the total price, minus the non-refundable deposit. Travel charges will be refunded based on the percentage.
  • All cancellations must be made in writing.
